New Factory Constructed in Taiwan to Manufacture Electronics-Related Equipment—Doubling Equipment Manufacturing Capacity to Expand Equipment Business—

Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (President: Kenji Nagata; hereinafter “TNSC”), a Japanese industrial gas company in Nippon Sanso Holdings Group, has constructed a new factory in Hsinchu County, Taiwan at a site of Taiyo Nippon Sanso Engineering Taiwan, Inc. (Head Office: Hukou Township, Hsinchu County; Chairman: Ikunori Tomita; hereinafter “TNET”), a manufacturer of gas purifiers and gas cabinets, to expand our capacity to produce equipment for the electronics industry.

One of the key strategies in Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation's medium-term management plan, “NS Vision 2026: Enabling the Future,” is “Total Electronics.” As one of the measures to this end, we have built a new factory at TNET to strengthen our capacity to manufacture equipment such as gas purifiers and gas cabinets in Taiwan for the electronics industry. The new factory is now complete, and an opening ceremony was held on November 8.

The new factory will increase TNET's total factory floor space, including the office, by approximately 2.5 times, and will double the company's equipment manufacturing capacity. TNET will continue to provide high-standard gas supply equipment and engineering services, particularly to the electronics industry.
