Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation (Head Office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenji Nagata; hereinafter “the Company”), the industrial gas business company of the Nippon Sanso Holdings Group, will change its company name (trade name) from “Taiyo Nippon Sanso Corporation（大陽日酸株式会社）” to “Nippon Sanso Corporation（日本酸素株式会社）” effective April 1, 2026.
Starting April 1, 2026, the Company will launch a new medium-term management plan aimed at realizing its vision for 2030. As the Company approaches its 120th anniversary in 2030, the new company name, “Nippon Sanso Corporation,” reflects our determination to further advance our industrial gas business. We will continue to contribute to the development of all industries and the resolution of social issues.

1. About the Company Name Change
Since its founding in 1910, the Company has grown as a leading player in Japan’s industrial gas industry, evolving its core products and business structure based on the universality and scalability of industrial gases. Our business has expanded beyond Japan to a global stage. In 2020, we transitioned to a pure holding company structure, establishing Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation. While the Company now mainly operates in Japan, we are returning to our roots—“oxygen,” the origin of industrial gases—and will unify our name with our parent company, Nippon Sanso Holdings, by changing our company name to “Nippon Sanso Corporation.”
For us, “oxygen” is both our origin and our symbol. The new company name embodies our desire to “return to our origins and make them the starting point for the future” as we continue to grow.

2. New Company Names for Major Group Companies
Following our company name change, group companies currently bearing the “Taiyo Nippon Sanso” name will also proceed with procedures to change their company names accordingly.
