Editorial Policy

The purpose of this report is to inform people about the environmental preservation and social responsibility initiatives of Taiyo Nippon Sanso and its Group companies. The report was prepared in accordance with Environmental Reporting Guidelines (2007 Edition), published by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment.

Scope of Reporting

In principle, this report covers the activities of Taiyo Nippon Sanso and its domestic Group companies. For some graph data, however, the scope differs. Accordingly, entities covered by individual graphs are indicated in notes.

Period Covered

Data in this report is for fiscal year 2011, the year ended March 31, 2011, although some activities from fiscal year 2012 and future tasks and goals are also featured.
