Our Duty to Our Customers

The core business of the Taiyo Nippon Sanso group is production and supply of industrial gases such as oxygen, nitrogen, and argon, as well as related equipment and facilities. Uses of these industrial gases are limitless, and our customers come from fields as diverse as the automotive, steel, chemicals, and electronics industries.
We aim to continue to fulfill the pledge inherent in our motto “The Gas Professionals”— that is, providing industrial gases to a wide array of customers with a focus on safety.

Quality Management and Quality Assurance

We consider the very existence of our company dependent on the reputation of our products among our customers and society at large. The following presidential policy on quality thus guides our quality management and quality assurance activities.

Presidential Quality Policy

1. Be a world leader in creating quality
  2. Enhance customer satisfaction and social trust with quality management activities that encompass each and every worker.
  3. Construct a company-wide quality management system subject to continuous improvement and implement effective quality management activities.
This Presidential Quality Policy has been strategically promulgated throughout the entire group by all divisional and branch quality and product safety managers. It is also displayed on our databases and in all work location offices.
We are also implementing ISO9001-compliant quality management to oversee our quality management and quality assurance efforts.

Ensuring Product Safety

We at Taiyo Nippon Sanso believe that “Product safety is the responsibility of the manufacturer.” Our product safety activities are carried out under the guidelines below.

Presidential Policy Regarding Responsibility for Manufactured Products

1.

Guarantee strict compliance with safety-related laws and regulations.

  2. Maximize technical abilities to mitigate product risk and ensure safety.
  3. Construct a company-wide product safety system subject to continuous improvement and implement effective product safety management activities.
Specifically, we have formed a product safety deliberation system for studying the safety of our products, which are only commercialized once the companywide director for quality assurance declares them safe.
We also offer guidance and assistance to affiliated companies in the process of constructing their own product safety deliberation systems.
