We maintain bases of operations over the entire country, from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu in the south, in order to supply our nationwide customers with a stable supply of industrial gases. We take a variety of steps to ensure that our presence in these local environments is not a disruptive one, and want to continue contributing to all the local communities of which we are a part in a positive way.
Community Disaster Prevention Drills
We participate in and contribute materials to disaster prevention drills run by local governments or local disaster prevention groups. These high-pressure gas disaster drills ensure that local communities are prepared for such events in the unlikely event they occur.
Memorial Oxygen Museum (Yamanashi office)
We opened the Memorial Oxygen Museum to the public free of charge in 1999. Ever since then it has told the story of industrial gas in Japan to a host of visitors.
Sergio Soccer Clinic (Chiba, Osaka)
We have co-sponsored Sergio Soccer Clinic together with the Chiba Football Association since 1990 in order to help the local residents get the most out of our Chiba Multipurpose Sports Park.
Donating Nitrogen Gas to the Science Museum, Tokyo
We donate nitrogen gas to the Science Museum Tokyo in Kudanshita as part of our social action efforts.
Disaster Relief
We are active in disaster relief efforts both within Japan and internationally. For example, we provided assistance to victims of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and the 2004 Niigata Chuetsu earthquake.
