Facility and Equipment Maintenance

1. Maintenance and Regular Inspection of High-Pressure Gas Equipment

According to the High Pressure Gas Safety Law, cold evaporators and other specific facilities operated by high-pressure gas manufacturers must undergo regular safety inspections.
A member of the Taiyo Nippon Sanso group, NS Engineering Corporation, has been named a “Designated Complete Inspection Organization” and  “Designated Safety Inspection Organization” by the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and so performs these high-pressure gas facility inspections for our customers.
We contribute to the safety of our customers’ high-pressure gas operations in a multitude of other ways as well, from offering voluntary regular inspections to safety workshops and specialized technical knowledge about safety management.

Ensuring Stable, Safe Operations

1. Providing Safe Facilities and Equipment

We at Taiyo Nippon Sanso believe that “Product safety is the responsibility of the manufacturer,” so our product safety activities encompass the group as a whole under our “Presidential policy regarding responsibility for manufactured products.” Each division carries out a safety review of its products before putting them on the market, while ultimately safety is ensured by the process whereby the companywide director for quality assurance issues approval.

2. Teleos Intensive Monitoring Service at Semiconductor Plants
We offer Teleos, a comprehensive safety service combining unmanned monitoring of semiconductor fabrication facilities, an alert system in case of emergencies, automatic emergency gas cut-off, and automatic engagement of emergency response measures. More than 200 of these systems are already in place.
Customer requests have also prompted us to offer 24-hour monitoring, dispatching of specialized staff, after-support, and other services.

Promoting a Safety Culture

1. Offering Safety Education and Information to Customers

Research reveals that 25.8% of high-pressure gas accidents occur at the usage site. To help our customers use our products safely, we provide safety education workshops and lectures when requested. We also provide information including Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and pamphlets on safe usage of gas-related equipment.
